Hi, I'm Jeremy, the founder of YargJay's Drums. Drumming has been my passion since I was 7 years old, giving me over 18 years of experience behind the kit. Throughout my musical journey, I've had the privilege of playing in various bands and groups around Toowoomba, including orchestras, brass bands, gospel choirs, and church bands. My love for music extends beyond drumming; I also play keys, guitar, bass, trombone, and I enjoy singing.

Teaching drums has been a rewarding part of my life. I truly enjoy helping others discover the joy of rhythm and music. There's nothing quite like seeing the excitement on a student's face when they nail a beat or play along to their favorite song for the first time.

What ages do you teach?

I teach students ages 10 and up, from beginners to intermediate levels.
Do I need my own drum kit to start lessons?

While having your own drum kit is beneficial for practice, it's not required to start lessons. I'll ask you to buy a pair of sticks and a practice pad to start with.
How long are the lessons?

I offer 30-minute lessons for $39 and 60-minute lessons for $75.
What kind of drum kit do you use for lessons?

I teach on an acoustic kit to provide a hands-on, authentic drumming experience.
Can I take group or online lessons?

Currently, I offer only one-on-one, in-person lessons to ensure personalized instruction and effective learning.
What styles of music do you teach?

I teach a variety of styles, incorporating different techniques and patterns to help you become a versatile drummer.
